Autumn Inspired Wedding | Dingle | Styled Shoot
Meredith Bacon is a US based photographer, and she had always been dreaming of doing a styled shoot in Ireland. When she got in touch to see if I wanted to collaborate, I was thrilled to jump on the opportunity. We drew the inspiration for the shoot from the wild Atlantic coastline, and muted colours of autumn.
Dunquinn in Dingle peninsula is one of the most beautiful places on earth, and the coastline would be the most stunning background for an elopement or an intimate ceremony.
Our model cancelled one day before the shoot, but, thankfully, my gorgeous friend Lena Driscoll agreed to fill in last minute and saved the day! Bridal gowns are from the White Gallery Boutique. Rue De Seine gown mimics the rigid cliffs and wild waves of the ocean, and Halfpenny London Swan Skirt reflects the delicate textures of the cotton flower on the coastal fields. Anette O'Brien and Donna McCarthy are wonderful artists, they created two different bridal looks for Lena - a soft, romantic look for the coastal scenes, and a darker, more mysterious look for the field scenes.
The cheese cake is from the Little Cheese Shop in Dingle - they have the most amazing selection, it's a must visit if you're in Dingle!
The bespoke invitation suite was kept very simple and minimalistic, with romantic hand-calligraphy font and soft watercolour effect in blue ocean hues. The envelope liner, however, was designed to reflect the wilderness of autumn mood of the shoot.
