Ann-Marie and Stephen | Mount Druid | Pawel Bebenca Photography

Mount Druid is a very unique venue, and I honestly can't imagine a more appropriate setting for Ann-Marie and Stephen's wedding. This cool, laid-back couple was so much fun to work with!

Ann-Marie and Stephen had a very clear vision of their big day - relaxed and fun, with a dark, muted colour palette. Ann-Marie had dreamt up a wild and moody bouquet, featuring dark marsala florals and lush foliage. She had envisioned a floral wall as a stunning background for their ceremony, and candlelight featuring throughout. For their reception dinner, Ann-Marie had a minimalistic and delicate decor in mind, so we displayed single blooms in mismatched vintage bottles.

I absolutely loved how thoughtfully Ann-Marie honoured her late brother's and best friend's memory. She framed beautiful smiley photos, and displayed them both on their ceremony table, and top table at dinner reception. Such a wonderful idea!

This was such a beautiful, understated wedding, true to their personalities and style, and I am so glad I got to be a small part of it. Ann-Marie sent me several thank you notes, including a wonderful thank you card (Ann-Marie, that was just so incredibly lovely, thank you so much!!!):

"Kristine,

just a little note to thank you from the bottom from our hearts for all the time and dedication you put into giving me the most beautiful wedding and something I could have never dreamed. From my amazing bouquet, to all the girls, the flower wall and all the amazing extras and little finishes that just made it all the best ever! I wish we could do it all again, I wouldn't change a thing!

With much love and thanks,

Ann-Marie and Stephen"
