Emma and Max's Summer Wedding in the Powerscourt House | Claire Byrne Photography
This is a throwback to last June when Emma and Max celebrated their summer wedding in the Powerscourt House. I feel like I'm saying this about almost every wedding I've got the pleasure to work on, but this one is probably one of my favourites to date. This lovely couple were a dream to work with and Emma, being a busy ophthalmologist, needed help in both planning and designing her dream day. After giving me the initial brief she just trusted me to bring her vision to life. From the dramatic staircase installation to the tall centerpiece arrangements, to the lush foliage wines trailing from the balconies, we designed a gardenesque aesthetic to beautifully compliment the stunning setting of the Powerscourt House. As the night close in, the fairy lights and candle-light throughout set such a romantic background to this amazing soiree.
Those happy texts I receive the day after the wedding is why I love my job the most:
"Hi Kristine, I'm just on the plane on our way to Italy! I wanted to tell you how absolutely perfect everything was on Saturday and I'm so, so grateful for your help and that you were so nice throughout everything. I read about weddings that people's expectations have been raised a lot with Pinterest etc and I was worried it wouldn't be what I was expecting but you really just blew me away with absolute perfection! Thanks so so much and I'll start littering the Internet with praise as soon as I can!!! Love Emma xx"
